I walk to church. It’s a strange feeling; is it really Sunday, I ask myself. Where are the throngs marching to the house off the Lord? Where are the armies of God? It’s as if I alone want to worship and fellowship. I see people on the street but they are going other places, going to do other things. Is it really Sunday?
It the Christian’s life, to willfully and joyously do that which others feel they have an option to do. Easter church optional day. I would rather show on any other day than Easter. Or would I?
Easter is “I must go worship my Lord day” for those who grew up in te church but have not been there regularly. It for tradition, it’s for family consecrations without dedication. It’s for pageantry. It is for us.
Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. (Mark 2:27 NASB)
Next Sunday will I think the same thing?
When will Blackberry succumb to progress, when will they sell out to Google? That’s the question on everyone’s mind. There are no other “White Knights” in the industry except for Google, and we all, myself included, would like to see what some new juice can do with Blackberry’s horde of IP patents. They already have a cadre of app developers, and the number of app available for Android is on a meteoric rise; it’s also the main reason Crackberry addict abandon the brand.
I always faulted Blackberry for trying to simulate instead of staying true to their niche: corporate users. A touch screen? Where’s that model now? Blackberry gained almost half of the American smartphone market solely based on its appeal as a status symbol; doctors, lawyers, real estate agents, corporate titans. This caught on among those with money to spend - young adults. But what did Blackberry do that other phones couldn’t? Deliver email, almost reliably. What Blackberry failed to do was build around email, they failed to deliver the ability to view PDFs, sign documents, their own document application, their GUI - for God sakes!!!
Blackberry came to the mountain, but they forgot to inquire of the people that got them there. They failed to appreciate the people that relied on them and held out waiting for them to see the big picture - some people don’t like change, especially when it’s due to popularity. No Blackberry is in retreat, they’re going back to the core purpose, a smartphone that does great email for corporate clients.
What’s really holding back a sale? Canadian stubbornness?

No, really, there are app that’ll help you keep your cool, when the police are doing what could other wise be called their duty.
1 - Your Rights
2 - Know Your Rights
3 - BNA Law Manual (The Law Officer’s Pocket Manual)
I don’t know why don’t teach this stuff in grade school. Anyway, I was on my way to the theater to see Stick Fly, hopped on the train, yes, I paid, and while walking on the platform I notice some undercovers. No strange event, except that one of them called out a name which I ignored. No big deal, there are plenty of head games in the hood, usually they come from the other side of the fence, but I kept walking. Eventually, one walked by then doubled back, approached and asked my name. Still no big deal. Since they had already called out a first I gave them my first. Then he asked for ID, which I showed. One doesn’t want to be disobedient when they’re heading to the theater. And that was it.
My point by mentioning all of this is that you gotta know handle yourself youngin’.
Get them apps, learn your rights, how to handle yourself, what they can and can not do, give yourself some room to breathe. Peace to you.
